Located just four kilometres from Plopsaland Belgium, Plopsaland Beach now allows visitors to rent beach chairs, sunbeds, parasols and windbreaks, offering a comfortable way to enjoy a day by the sea. This initiative fits within the continued development of the Plopsaland Resort as a fully-fledged holiday destination, which also includes Plopsaqua De Panne, the Studio 100 Theater, the Plopsaland Theater Hotel and Plopsaland Village.
Carl Lenaerts, CEO of the Plopsa Group:
“Plopsaland and the sea have been closely connected for more than 25 years. With Plopsaland Beach, we are now offering our resort guests an additional service during their stay on the coast. After a day full of attractions, shows or water fun, guests can now also enjoy a relaxing moment on our own beach.”
Wim Janssens, Mayor of De Panne:
“Plopsaland is an important driver of tourism in De Panne and attracts visitors from both Belgium and abroad. It is therefore very positive to see the park continue to invest in additional tourist experiences. At the same time, I would like to reassure everyone that the beach operation will fully comply with existing regulations, ensuring that the character of our beach is preserved.”
Plopsaland Beach is located at Halmenstraat in De Panne and will be accessible from the Easter holidays to all beach visitors and guests of the Plopsaland Resort.
